Dorothy and her friends were stunned by the sparkle of this amazing city. The streets were lined with beautiful houses made of green marble, decorated with glittering emeralds. The travelers walked along the sidewalk made of the same green marble, and the cracks between the slabs were filled with emeralds that shone under the rays of the sun. The windows of the houses were made of green glass. Even the sky above the Emerald City was green, and the green sun sent out hot green rays.
